Ramponi

If you have purchased a pair of Tour Nanotech Automatic -Batch nr. 0 11, 1 11, 1 12, 2 12, 3 12, 1 13, 1 14- or Tour Nanotech Semi-Automatic -Batch nr. 2 12, 3 12, 1 13, 1 14- (see photo), we ask you to stop using them immediately and to return them to the shop where you purchased them: the Heel Bail Systems will be exchanged after inspection.

Problem Description: A manufacturing issue (insufficient pressing of the wire) may allow the wire of the heel bail to come off from its housing when these conditions occur:

- in occasion of a strong side-originated stress;

- if the boot is not kept in position by the side posts (this may happen when the heel bails adjustment is too lose).

When these conditions happen together, for example as while walking on a traverse, the boot makes a significant force on the wire and pushes it out of its slot.

WARNING: the Heel Bail Systems which are used on all other CAMP crampons are not affected by this recall and can be used safely.

Thank you for your cooperation.
